Due to Covid-19 the Moreton Bay Triathlon due to take place on the the 19th of April 2020 has been split into two events. The standalone Moreton Bay Triathlon has been postponed to the 9th of May 2021. In addition there will be an event on Sunday 27th September 2020. The event will be held as part of the Queensland Triathlon Series. 

The Moreton Bay Triathlon offers four triathlon distances: Olympic (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run), Sprint (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run), Enticer (300m swim, 10km bike, 2.5km run) and a kids Tri (100m swim, 2km bike, 500m run). The event promises a sheltered swim and a flat foreshore run.
