Coogee Island Cool Water Challenge - EVENT CANCELLED

The Coogee Island Cool Water Challenge due to take place on the 5th of April 2020 has been cancelled. Please refer to Facebook page for further information. 

The event is another opportunity to swim the 2.4km Island Challenge in slightly warmer conditions than the November Cold Water Challenge event. There is also a 1km Splash and Dash inside Coogee Bay and an 800m Junior Dash. Coogee Bay is protected by headlands to the south and north and also by Wedding Cake Island that sits offshore. For swimmers taking on the 2.4km Island Challenge, conditions around Wedding Cake Island can be a little choppy and challenging.
