The McLaren Vale Marathon will take place on the 1st of June 2025. The event offers a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km as well as a Kids Dash. The 2025 event will be based in the heart of McLaren Vale town and will include runs through the vines. The distances will be on sealed roads with reduced elevation change.

The Marathon is a two lap course from the centre of town passing through the region’s vineyards with a backdrop of the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges. The course has approximately 260m of elevation change over the 42.195 km. The Half Marathon is a one lap course with approximately 130m of elevation change over 21.1 km.
