Flinders Island, located off Tasmania's North East coastline hosts a running festival over Fathers Day weekend every year. The running festival started in 2007 as a community fun run and health promotion day and has grown every year since. The festival begins on Friday night with a free 5km fun run. Saturday hosts a 25.4km Pub2Pub run / walk and the 42km Pub2Pub Trail Marathon and the weekend is capped off on Sunday with the FIAAI (Flinders Island Aboriginal Association Incorporated) 5km.
