Ipswich 100 Bike Ride
The Ipswich 100 Bike Ride includes the 'Classic 100' and the 'Imperial 100' challenge. The Classic 100km course travels through breathtaking countryside inside the Scenic Rim to the South West of Ipswich on open undulating roads. It includes a couple of good climbs and some longer fast sections.
The 'Imperial 100' is a 169km iconic event attracting the fittest cyclists from Southeast Queensland and beyond. The route follows the Classic 100 ride to the 64km mark before it diverges towards Kalbar, skirts Lake Moogerah and ascends Mt Alford. At around the 120km mark the “dirty dozen” is series of hills known not so much for their gradients but more for the seemingly relentless number in close proximity to each other.
In addition, the Ipswich 100 Bike Ride offers a 50km distance option.
