Below is a list of marathons, half marathons and ultra-marathons in Sydney and the surrounding area including the Central Coast and amazing Blue Mountains.
9 Sydney Marathons events
The Six Foot Track Marathon will return on the 13th of March 2021 in the stunning Blue Mountains. The course is a 45 kilometre trail stretching across the Blue Mountains from The Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba to Jenolan Caves.
Race 5 of the Sri Chinmoy Sydney Series will take place on the 5th of April at Dolls Point in Sydney. There are three distances on offer, a 4km, 7km and Half Marathon.
Ultra-Trail Australia will return on the 13-16th May 2021. Ultra-Trail Australia is four day running festival incorporating a 100 kilometre, 50 kilometre, 22 kilometre and 11km trail run through the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.

The Great NOSH Footrace due to take place on the 14th of June 2020 has been postponed to the 6th of June 2021.
The Great NOSH Footrace is an annual trail run along Middle Harbour in Sydney, Australia.
Save the date on the 27th of June 2021 for the Western Sydney Marathon. The event offers five distances to suit all abilities from seasoned marathon runners through to kids in the 5km or 2km fun runs. The course is fast and flat around the Penrith Lakes.
Described as one of the most scenic and spectacular courses in Australia, the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival attracts around 33,000 participants annually. In 2013 the Blackmores Sydney Marathon was the first Australian marathon to be broadcast live in 23 years.

The Three Bridges Run returns for a third year! This spectacular 5km, 9km, 21. 1km (half marathon) or 42. 2km marathon run along Parramatta River is just 30 minutes west of the Sydney CBD.
