Short, fast and fun, and suitable for anyone and everyone with a real sense of adventure, the Maximum Adventure Race Series is designed to offer the perfect introduction to the exhilarating sport of adventure racing.
WILDSIDE SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS EDITION will take racers to wild spaces. In teams of 4 or 2 you will be thrust into the forests and gorges of the NSW south coast navigating through spaces rarely visited, encountering challenges, as you traverse demanding landscapes in all weather conditions, day and night.
The Freycinet Challenge is a 2 day Adventure Race through the stunning Freycinet Peninsula in Tasmania. The event returns in 2019 on the 5th and 6th of October and includes two days of kayaking, mountain biking, road cycling and trail running.
Adventurethon Demolish is heading to the Mackay region on the 12th & 13th October. There will be 3 separate locations for each race which will be held as standalone events. Includes paddle, mountain bike and run course.
The multi-discipline Collie Adventure Race will return in 2019 with the entire event starting and finishing around the picturesque Minninup Pool on the Collie River on the edge of the Collie township.
The Sprint Series Adventure Race offers both a novice and classic course to suit both newcomers and more experienced adventure racers. The classic course involves a 5km run, 15km mountain bike ride and a 2km kayak. The novice course is a 3km run, 10km MTB and 2km kayak.
X-Marathon is a 60 hour non-stop adventure race. Disciplines incude trekking, coastering, paddling and mountain biking. Teams of 4 will cover between 150km and 220km throughout the half and full courses.
The last ever Augusta Adventure Fest will take place on 2 - 3 November 2019. Held in Augusta, WA, the event will feature the Augusta Premier Adventure Race, the Augusta Mini Adventure Race as well as the Augusta Junior Survivor, a 4km junior obstacle race.
Adventurethon Demolish Clarence Valley will take place on the 23rd and 24th November 2019. The event offers three individual races: a paddle down the Clarence River, a gorge adventure run and mountain bike race through the Bom Bom State Forest.
The East Gippsland Adventure Challenge is part of the Adventure Cup multisport series. There are 3 categories: Solo, Relay and AR Duo. Competitors will compete over multiple stages: a 31-km mountain bike, followed by a 16-km trail run and a 15-km paddle.
